ok, mass update, a few days of grub, some homemade some not so much. the 6th picture, even I am embarrased about the portion size, but the wife only pulled one reasonable sized steak from the freezer, we had extra salad to make up for the lack of meat. sorta...
yesterday wife made a beef stirfry with brown rice, yummy, and before anyone comments on the portion size, that is a REALLY big beer bottle eh, it only makes the plate look small due to optical illusion like forced perspective. lol
Tonight was lefties, a pork roast and tater hash with green pepper, tomato and cheese chunks salad with spicy balsamic vinegar.
For the memorial Katy bought a shat load of meats. I had Tri Tip, Sirloin Tip, London broil and hamburgers.... I fired up the BBQ at about 9:30 and made a serious bed of coals. Started cooking at about 12:30. People were making speeches and I had the meat ready to go at 1:30..... Made hamburgers for the kids.. But they ate the better meat.. LOL
About 100 showed and I was prepared for 150 plus. Man do I have left overs for vacation
Sorry no pics of the event and other food .. I was friggen busy cooking and carving....
I waited in line an hour, and sat there an hour waiting for some "famous" pizza tonight. Sally's in New Haven...Honestly, it tasted like ever other pizza I've had. It ended up being a 4 hr trip for pizza.
