The Official Work Pictures Thread

Not to me Brian. I love all of the facets of this work... specially guys out there by themselves, hammerin out all kinds of stuff.

Stephen: MAN!!!!! That last Oak-spar vid!!!!!! Wow, man! You guys shoot some really cool stuff.

Here's my crummy rotten Hemlock today... Oh yeah, Rich... I know what you mean. I got super scared climbing this thing to shorten it up and get the back-weight off. I'm always scetched in Hemlocks anyway. I've seen em so rotten that you wouldn't believe they were still standing and looking so very green and beautiful. That species (Western) can tolereate a TON of rot everywhere and look like there's almost nothin wrong with em. Case in point...

Shot this crappy flip-phone pic on the way home. Thought you guys might really like it. Enjoy. You can send me some Pay-Pall money from all of the wonderful enjoyment that you guys get from it...

The Fir in the ceter of the pic IS stinkin HUGE. I've got out of my car before and looked er over really good. Thing is... you can never ever know how tall a pig is till ya measure er out, seems like.

Rich, what does your boss pay it in payroll per day on a removal crew? Seems like it's got to be worthwhile. But, same thing with CoolVests, big saws, etc. That being said your boss has way more money than me.

I honestly have no idea. I know what I cost per hour and that's it. I have a good idea of what it is but I can tell you my crew costs him the most per day. He brings that point up on occasion and I offer to relieve him of some expenses. Funny how I can get a raise outta that.

Little thing from this morning, they claimed its a 'tulip tree' but I don't think so. Cool grain though.

We are formulating a 2-5 year plan. finish up grading this property. Sell and move to a more business, home school and gun friendly state. And better ag too. Less government interference. CA is just not the place to be. Looking around. I have a nefew in GA.. Looking at KY and TN. Get some ideas, take a road trip and check it out.

So Badass. The level of heavy duty treework you guys are doing is amazing. Stephen Those were great pictures man!

Couple days worth here. It's a long drive to this Jobsite, and I'm in no rush to finish up the laundry list of work they wanted done ;)

I'm also trying out one of these fancy grinder barriers. I had it set up behind the machine. There was a lot of rock in with those cedar stumps. . . and a sweatshirt :|:

Looks cooler there Sam.. We did another crane job today on a leaning over roof and next to power lines tree.
Nice sized valley oak. 6 hours on the crane today, but clean up went faster being able to land the picks in a dirt parking area. Had to work out of his basket for one lead. But I could bomb that one out... Then picked the big wood. We maxed out that 15 ton a few times today. High heat all week (105 today) so the trees are transpiring like crazy. Full of water. Even the lettuce was heavy!. Only got a couple pics. Lads were busy ;)

Nice top shots Reg
