The Official Work Pictures Thread

Better get with the program I guess, post some pics!

Today's job.

Decent size Lombardy down the bottom of a garden next to HV cables, which complicated it a bit.

You'll notice an 1990s X-ring!

Really came into its own today, powerful, fast (15mph) we had to move the wood 100mtres to a field.

A Friday afternoon of sitting on my arse instead of busting it.

Looking good everyone. We didn't do much today. Rained overnight and started again at noon. We took out a little hickory and stacked a lot of plywood so the lawn wouldn't burn out over the weekend. Don't think anyone wants a pic of 100 sheets in two piles.
Awesome machine Mick.

This morning I trimmed a couple limbs off an oak tree at the entrance of a restaurant. Dropped most of the brush straight into the trailer, loaded the rest with the bucket truck winch. Got paid cash plus a gift certificate so I'll be back for some free chow.

Dropped the trailer at home and went to my second job at 11. Repeat client, trimming and removals at a decent size residential property. All leave lay, he's got two teenage boys who need to work. :D Knocked down 3 dead trees and minor trimming on a dozen others. Finished at 3 and made half decent money today, all cash.

I'm enjoying the heck out of this new truck. So much easier to get into tight spots than the big truck. I was able to drive all over this guy's nice yard and barely left a mark. I even set up on top of the drainfield after laying down some plywood, no problem.

Oops, wrong thread. No pics so I probably should have posted this elsewhere. Oh well, I'll get it right next time.

I've already posted pics of the truck but here it is again.

Nice unit Mick! That is going to save your back and make you money

We went back on that black oak TD today. HO originally wanted all the wood cut to firewood. We talked them out of the big logs for some hobby milling :/:

It may well stick, although most things end up being called "the thing" due to brain fade.

My Dad was the same when he was fixing the car.

Dad to me: Fetch the thing will you...

Me to Dad: What thing?

Dad to me: The THING! In the workshop you know, it's on top of the thing.

Me to Dad: (playing up a bit by now) What thing? On top of which thing?

This would go back and forth for a while until he would then extricate himself from under the car, storm to the workshop, pick up some stilsons or some such and shout

"This friggin' thing!"

Cue the whole family rolling around laughing at him.

I had a boss like that.....
Hey, go get that thing over there in the stock room and bring it to me over here........!!!!!
SAID a loud voice from a hidden place two doors down from the stock room :?
