The Official Work Pictures Thread

Rich: Better. Way, way better.

Craziness, Willie.

Here's the 45" Arbutus stump from today. The guy decided he didn't want his 10' "snag" after all. :|:

Nice looking hinge there Jed. You couldn't keep him talked into that 10 foot high animal habitat?
It was getting dark last night or I would've taken a pic of possibly the ugliest stump cut in our company's history. I met my boss to check out the new Rayco forestry mower and he told me his brother and the amishman lost the big oak that was there. A bit a stump forensics and I could tell why. I might swing up there tomorrow and snap a pic. It was bad

Habitat pole! hahaha. I've seen folks carving those things up for the bats out there. . .

Great stump shot Jed.

Rich, It'd be fun to see some stump forensics!

Jim asked to see the picture that made the Wesspur catalog...here it is with some more from that day, I think its the second one.

Great pics!

Two solo flops and firewood, HO clean up. One tree was going to catch corner of septic field, HO FIL says it's over 3ft deep, but I put a brush bed there anyway. Previous HO binded second tree with chain.

Dang, girl...those are great pictures...never saw them before!!!! You be holdin' out!

Good share.

Peter...I wish I got more trees like that...good show. That second splitter looks gnarly.

Thanks guys, I do have a few big tree pics stashed away...
I knew it was punky at the bottom, and old Poincianas are wobbly at the best of times, but Shee*&^t when I got back down and really poked at the dodgy area...half a tub of compost came out!
I started the tree DdRT then as I came down switched to SRT, got to love the HH.
Ok Butch you can change my avatar if you like, I was about ready for a new one :)

Like I wrote somewhere else.
Small, but definitely no leightweight.

Excellent pics, and one nasty tree.

Now why the hell haven't you showed them before????????????????????????????????????????????????????

That's a nasty looking tree there Fiona. You do more nasties than you let on I'm guessing.

Well the stump pic wasn't the worst I've seen now that I saw it in full daylight, but still not very good.

The lower cut was the back cut because of the back lean and the fact that they set a cable off of the back of the skidder. Luckily it struck another tree and deflected it enough to keep it off the road and the power.
Sorry no pics of the Rayco yet. I held my phone up to get some pics and it died on me.
