The Official Work Pictures Thread

Looks good. Nice work :^)

The lack of trees out there is striking. Years ago, I was talking to a guy from CO, and he said he was having a hard time acclimating to the trees out here. Said he couldn't see anywhere. I said "WTF, you don't have trees?!". He said they did, but it was "different". I didn't really understand it, and let it go, but I think ^^^that was what he meant.

Same around here. In many ways it is a green jungle in suburbia.

One friend said it she felt like she was driving thu green tunnels.

I was doing a crane job this summer in a tree so thick with vines, I could only see 12" in front of my face. It was so bad I actually choked a leader and when I descended to make the cut I realized what I choked was totally different than what I was about to cut.

Green jungle!

Good article, Stikine.

There's a guy around here, he's 91 and still doing treework with his 70' bucket. I used him for my bucket work 30 years ago when he was about 60. As a friend of his said, "he hasn't aged in 30 years".

If you met him you'd probably say he's 70 yo.

It's pretty amazing since we all know folks in their 90's who can barely pick up a spoon much less use a saw on a tree.
