I was watching one of his videos, 7' on the butt cedar cut with a 32-36" bar, using a branch as a springboard over a good-sized drop.
That was a bit of word-play. Logging is done in 'blocks' or 'strips'...along with what might be an American-ism. Our cities are divided into "blocks", and someone who's been around the block has experience. Old gray-beards could be said to have been around the block a few times.
Funny how you are probably relaxing with a glass of wine at the end of the day, when I'm halfway through, strike that, more than halfway through a pot of coffee in the morning.

Utility ROW, generally primary electrical power lines.
Ohio Rich does a lot of gas pipeline ROW work, I think. All those jobs where the neighbors are up in arms about having extending their landscaping beyond their property, and don't like the opening between neighbors when the ROW is opened.

On a bunch of our jobs they just go thru with dozers and excavators. Just shove stuff out of the way, get down to bare dirt, and take off. The topsoil is always kept separate to go back in last, and silt fence is used to ensure nothing gets in a waterway.

Lol nope. They actually almost fired a guy this year over changing his profile pic to a work pic, showing nothing lol. Chemical plants are auto fired for even having a phone, so i doubt I'll be coming up with any sanitised pics unfortunately. I wanted to take some cool ones this year too, but no dice. Like when i was welding a cap on with 3 foot flames shooting out.

I have often thought that if your industry has a poor image and bad public relations.....more transparency is needed. Not less.
Unless you are a jack wagon, working for jackwagons.....then you should keep a lid on it!
