The Official Work Pictures Thread

You found their time capsule! Nice.
I went this morning to finish a tree that the shorter trucks couldn't reach. Was told I had 4 hours to get it down so they wouldn't have to pay a full days rate for traffic control. Wasn't happy when I got there. Took 35 minutes. Two tops that the other crew claimed they couldn't reach. I think everyone else in this company must've sold their climbing gear. Then went and finished a county job. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
Our goal was achieved. We decided that little maple sapling wasn't marked so we couldn't hurt it. 14 footers waiting for the log truck. Yard got thrashed but they are replacing a 90" storm line between the houses in a couple of weeks

Nice work Rich and Jed.

Not much going for me here... I'll get some pictures up when I get some work! I did have 4 calls in the last 2 days so things are looking up!

Here are some shots of my brother taking down a Cottonwood last week. 20160225_112318.jpg 20160225_093635.jpg 20160225_114902.jpg

I give up why do my pics always post upside down???

Levi, if I take a pic with my android phone verticle the pic will usually download on its side.
I hold the phone horizontal with the camera to the left then I get the pics on here right side up.
Just make sure when you check your pic on your phone that the share, edit and delete icons are on the bottom of the picture.

I figured that was the problem. When I take a photo with my phone it automatically uploads to google. The photos are upright there, only when I put them on here do they flip... I think the phone was designed to use your right hand to click it the button, being left handed everything is upside down! Thanks Holmen.

With my phone I have to edit, go to the size, and hit original. Then save. Then they're right. I forgot to do that on my log pile in the last set and you see what happened

If forum preview shows the pics upside down, can you use some software to flip them over and then try posting. I don't know if phones have such photo editing software like computers do.

I'm humbled I could contribute something. Btw, the key of course is dragging no sediment/debris through the cut. You can do it with either a pushing chain or pulling chain, though more often than not on stumps, a pulling chain is best, with the tip buried. I'm sure you know this but the 'back-chaining' reference threw me a little. :drink:

Chop bark away with axe, then cut standing on your head if you want.

home with sick kids today so I hammered away at the new chicken coop. So far I've bought 4 boards and a bucket of screws, ticking along nicely

Took very few pictures myself today. Shot a lot of video. The guys snapped some pictures today while I was brushing it out.
They shot fone vids too but I can't seem to share them on this old school platform. They didn't really get any shots in the beginning stages.
Brushed it out and came home.

My seven-year-old seems to be doing better. It's been eight days now. My five-year-old was not hit as hard by it and she seems to be doing OK. My wife is pretty wiped out being pregnant and all but she was up and around more today. My two-year-old has it pretty bad now. Her fever spiked to 103.7 and has gone back down to around 101. We are letting the fever nuke whatever germ has her.

What ever this big is it's nasty. My old year old told me with a somber face "Papa, this is the worst week of my life"

Glad the family is starting to get better. The wife being pregnant just makes it worse. I felt guilty going to work with both my kids and her sick and slightly relieved as well because I wasn't sick. Dang I feel bad even now for just mentioning it. Great pics by the way. Tall trees you guys got out there

Thanks, same exact feeling leaving her. I want the clean air, but feel like I'm pulling out of Nam and leaving the locals to die.
