We went to the trouble to set up two winches (it was gusty) and the tree went without pulling. 😆
We took off the back what we could reach with the pole saw from the roof.

Finished up a day and a half job with John. We trimmed and deadwooded 4 trees over a house and deck. 2 hickory, 1 poplar, and 1 black oak. Hickory leaned over the home pretty far and got end weight reductions at its leader tips and a thinning. We used a speed line for the 1st time and it was awesome. The oak required 2 TIPs to support me and allow easy movement out onto the 40’ dead limb. All went well except for John’s lost glasses.

Back leaking Pine over power cables. I climbed and rigged down the limbs over the cables to reduce back weight. Then left rigging high for the winch line. 360 assistant to be sure.

Oh, I'm not afraid of the trees either. It is the many, many targets within strike distances that I see you manage in most of your videos that give me pause.

Are you billing appropriately? The last insurance job I did, we pulled out around 3AM, I got in bed at 4, and was on a field trip at 8.
I wouldn’t want to do that every week, but the juice was worth the squeeze.
