The Official Work Pictures Thread

Newer than I thought. I agree regarding the color. It's both naturalistic, but also kind of bold. It blends into the woods without disappearing. Not that I mind disappearing houses. Dark green and brown make fantastic house colors, but I like that earthy gold.

Nothing pretty today for me.
Such a magnificent tree Deva.
Mine, ick.
Climbed the "green" also cracked side and made it go away from the fence. Even the ants had moved out.
Then I slayed a perfectually live leaner and pruned for a cable job another live tree next to the second story roof. More tomorrow. Rest requires a crane in a couple weeks.

Making firewood out of the yankflop. I discovered the 395 with 404 skip doesn’t need much reaming, just rips…til that one cut. Pinched totally solid but the chain would still run. Beat all kinds of wedges in no luck. Cut more rounds off with the 2175. Finally ocurred to me to use the long bar on the 2175 to plunge and roll the rounds. 395 still stuck! Locust that was growing next to the oak had it in a death grip.

Poor cutting on my part too. Seems I’m always trying to cut an arch. Should I have started from the top. Small tops small problems. Also should have used the little roller stick trick.
