The Official Work Pictures Thread

Killing some tipped up spruce today. Driveway is downhill from a marshy area, parked on glare Ice with water bubbling up under it. Crazy to see snow on the ground in Washington, and none in Maine.

Winched everything with a corner block. Chipped into a pile and buried the tipped up roots. Man I love that chipper. Second pic has some fun fresh porcupine nibbles.

That's more than nibbles! :^D I guess they sometimes kill trees, eh? I've never seen a wild one. I don't think we have them here.
 
They are humorous. Had one on my bank, wandering up. Get really close and they make huffing sounds. But they are slow so it's not like they are going to jump you. Lol

Afaik, we have few to no porkys here in CT even though we aren't that far from you ME folks.

Dr Goog says: North American Porcupines are large, solitary rodents common in New England, but less common and rarely seen in Connecticut.
