have you seen forced cooling in a chainsaw? In this helmet, approximately the same principle is applied.

Minis look pretty affordable too. I made a halfassed look a week or so ago, and it looks like you can get a clean used model for ~$25k. Sound about right?

I've never seen one around here out of the woods, so I don't know how they like to branch out in full sun.

Limby thing. I don't think I've ever seen a sizable one, but maybe just haven't noticed. All the ones I've seen have been ≤6" range.
