I couldn't watch the whole thing. That guy is kind of infamous on the Ford truck forums, as a fear mongering clown.
 
My bad, I guess...

I haven't watched his other vids or visited Ford forums,. In his defense though *, all he was advising was to check out a used truck a bit more than just the cosmetics before purchasing, and some basic tips on what you can look for yourself. No doubt there must be unscrupulous people out there selling vehicles. In actuality with trucks, he was cautioning about more use than is shown on the speedo and how to make an assessment by easily accessed appearance. What he was saying wasn't just about Fords, obviously. The little bit of self promotion at the end didn't seem over the top.

Ahh no worries Jay. I don't know the fellow at all myself and I'd imagine most of his info is accurate or helpful. I believe what people took exception to is his fear mongering of the 6.0l Ford diesel which a lot of people for some reasons or other will defend. I'd never own one. I refer to it as the 6.0l burden. :D

You can take for granted that there are some ears damages, even on short period.
When I was in high school, a buddy told me he went to a concert with others. For fun, one of them put his head just in front of a big woofer. That messed his hearing pretty badly.
