gonna get somebody to just run the machine....you ever feel weird going in behind your competition?

A little. but I have been just going around grinding during the evenings after I get done, or on saturday. None of the guys that i grind for work in my town, So They refer work to me if they get calls in Hartsville, and I return the favor. Its workinng out so far, One of the guys is a prime contractor for wachovia natural disaster team.

These guys are making the entire payment on the grinder and cover the maintenance costs. So I am getting free stump grinding in a sense.

Work is going well here. Worked a couple of weekends, nothing much.

Trying to come up with $2000 for the stump grinder right now. It's actually $3000, but we have a $1000 credit line with Vermeer. Should be picking it up in about a week or so.

I never thought of that before, great idea.

Yeah...tiny little place, lovely little tree, they've got pineapples and citrus and lots of veggies in their tiny garden, surrounded by wastrels and layabouts, but not the owner! My high price clients can help subsidize this one.

Work is coming in short bursts here. Still havent gotten the ball 100% rolling into the summer. I get a weeks or 2 worth of work than things die for a bit, than the same thing again. I'm paying my bills and keeping everything running and moving so I'm choosing to be grateful instead of angry.
