I'll think about it Stephen. I just sent you a PM, my BIL died a few days ago and the funeral is Sunday at 2:00. So I'm thinking right now that I will go but have to leave early.

Twas a great day. Stig got here and we headed out about 9am. Katy and the boys went so we had a couple cameras going. I have not seen the pics on Stig's yet. Anders never showed up so it was just Stig and I in TONS of canopy... Imagine up to 50' long limb walks if you will . I missed several throws to get a line in and of course Stig hit the crotch on the first try GO figure.. HAHAHA

Stig entered first and set his FS and started galavanting around the tree.. Then up I went to do the same...

It was hard to get pics sometimes as the canopy really messes with your lighting.. Last couple are of Stig getting way out.

Katy went outside of the canopy to get a shot of both Stig and I once we got out to the edge to try and capture the scale of the tree... See that little red dot???? LOL

Stig remarked that swinging back would be a bit hazardous from that distance since you would pretty much slam into a trunk the size of a bus

Awesome tree, Stephen. The guys who climb 200' tall conifers may not fully appreciate the challenges associated with climbing a tree 70' tall and 150' wide, but I love the spreading canopies of the live oaks and other hardwoods.
