Pulling wood out of the brush?

Andy is a foreigner out here. If you are not local and from the bigger cities it takes a long time to be accepted.
Andy if I ever get my equipment home I could swing by and help out....

It is only about 25 miles from my place.

I was doing some work awhile back .... private lake full of camps mostly from the 40's and 50's .... the place is completely wooded Large trees and wires running EVERYWHERE , most of the work had no vehicle access we had to manually foward every piece to do the job ... the owners said a local co. set a steel post of some sort on their truck rigged with a pulley , parked uphill they had a SparBlock

Everyone knows I love my G.:D

Although it's got under 300 hrs, I haven't had much problems. A missing? keyway on the drive motor early on, 2 batteries, 4 tires, 1 broken masterlink, soldered a wire for the fan, and some simple green and wax. :D

You don't remember? I went to MS to get that from Carl. It's being adapted to use on the mini and chipper. Since Woodsman doesn't offer one on the chipper, now I have a one-off multiuse one.

Thanks Dave!

Yeah, it's different out there!! I guess the meth/drug culture is getting bad out there. I don' know if I am going to walk up on someones pot growing operation by accident!

If they can't steal it, it seems they will just break it so you can't use it.

Andy you could always leave tools/equipment at the farm so you don't have to haul everything both ways. With 7 dogs at the farm no body will get out of there vehical until we come outside.... But that is a good thing....:D

Interesting thought! I may take you up on that depending on how the min deal goes.

I would think by now all the crops have been harvested .

It comes as no surprise to me a person might have to go far and wide to find any wood in that state .From traveling on I-70 some years back that is really open country in some parts . In some spots you might go 10-15 miles and see nothing but prarie ,no house no nuttin but highway . It's been said the entire state is not that way so I can't comment on the portion I haven't seen .

Andy this might be another option. http://www.littlehelpercart.com/index.php
You could load in the back of the truck or trailer, he is here in Kansas....Eudora KS. Anyway just another option....8)

Eudora is east of Lawrence KS.

I've seen simialer, but not that exact one. It just seems limited in aplications. For this kind of money I am liking versatility/multi use. The more capabilities there are, the more it's worth in my mind.

Al, western KS is barron!! Nothing!! Eastern KS will remid you of Misouri. Decent sized hills and Oak growing like wildfire.

I have no doubt .Actually east Colorado is rather barren also .It dosen't turn into the Colorado I like until you get on the eastern slope of the rockies right outside of Denver . Those mountains are a sight a person should see at least once in their life time .You'll never forget them .:)

Oh alas I should have been born in the mountains rather than in the middle of a cornfield but we gotta do what we gotta do .

You're right about Colorado, Al. Driving west approaching the Rockies is one of the most memorable sights I've seen in my short life. :)

One can only imagine the thoughts that went though some of the old timey pioneers like Jim Bridger and others .Seeing those great hills and knowing they had to go over them . What we do in hours it took them months .

Some day ,Lord willing ,I shall see the mountains of the PNW too .:)

But imagine the same poor bastids goin through KS!!! "Good lord man, is there ever even going to be a bump?"

I have this beauty, built like a tank, ugly as sin. but it has grown on me I like it. 05 Kanga 720DL, 25hp kubota $10K ~~ 270 hrs
