Last Friday morning, my poor sweetie slipped and fell in the shower at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, and cracked some ribs. She's been in terrible pain ever since.

She can't lay down to sleep. Easy chair is going to have to make do until she heals up some. Needless to say, the trip to Milwaukee isn't going to be a fond one for her.

On a more positive note she has some extra time off work to spend with me. But not feeling good will distract from it.

bummer terri, sorry to hear. on a more positive note my old boss said he met some nice old guy that knew me:lol: he said terri was nice to:D i get a kick out of him, hes old school never heard of you but had seen the 150' up pic. get well terri

So sorry to hear Gerry. I wish her the best in a speedy recovery and it was a pleasure to meet your better half Gerry!

Damn. Good luck with the ribs. She needs you to get her some really nice pillows to pad the sides of that chair in case she rolls around in her sleep. Oww!

Best thoughts to your Mrs, Gerry. I broke a few ribs a few years ago, talk about pain! I took an ibuprofen every four hours and found that a semi reclined position for laying down/sitting was best.

Oh, and tell her NOT to sneeze for a few weeks. That feels horrible, a sharp intense pain, kinda like getting kicked in the privates, hard. :(

Sorry to hear about Mrs. B. I hope she recovers quickly. I'm sure you'll take good care of her. :)

I broke a few ribs when I was young and foolish... but they weren't mine! :O

Sure looked painful, though. :/:

Sorry to hear about the accident, Jerry; best wishes for a speedy recovery to the Mrs.

My wife came off her horse a few years ago and broke some ribs. She will back up Paul's warning about sneezing, coughing, and don't forget laughing! NO laughing!! These injuries can take a depressingly long time to heal.

Again, best wishes and be careful on the hugs.

Dave

Dang, Gerry...

Please pass along our best wishes for a speedy recovery.

I'd say to give her a hug for me... but I think that's not such a good idea just now.

My condolences to Mrs.B.Whatever yuo do Jerry don't share Squishey stories from here with her -the laughter would be too painful.

When you got hurt she took GREAT care of you, now its your turn. Hope she gets well soon

Oh, yes, thank you , John. My sweet wife took such good care of me through my injury. I'm blessed to have her. And it certainly is my time to share the care. I love her so much.
