Holy crap, I knew this fellow - very well. I can't believe I'll never see him again. I'd sure like to know the rest of the story... He touched the ladder? He knows better than that, I know him.

Rest in Peace, Randy.

Damn. :(

He had a young child, at least one. Man...

Let's ALL be careful out there, my friends.

... Sorry Boss, rough to read the few details ... it seemed like he almost went home safe that night having gotten out of the cab or off the deck ... the work we all love, so dangerous.

Horrible to hear, and the day after I did the EHAP training. Really brings the lessons home for sure.

Condolences to you MB.

Driving accidents kill the most tree guys, then falls, struckbys, and electricity is 4th. (from the EHAP course)

He knew to jump away. I'd sure like to know more about that ladder thing.

i wonder if he would have been safer on the truck or if he was getting shocked and panicked and went for it, maybe touched a handrail on the way off?
either way its a rotten situation, and im sorry your friend is gone
