Lol no, i used to hunt them all the time tho. They are incredibly smart and tough, despite being a tree rat.

When I was a kid, I chased a squirrel up a tree. Got to the top of the tree(maybe 30' up based on an ancient memory), and shook him out. He landed, his little legs went out to the sides, and he got up and ran away. Not one of my better moments, but they're amazingly durable. Squirrel tastes pretty good.
