I know very little about double braid because other than 4 eye slices I made on some 3/4" Plymouth I haven't been around it much .The splices were made by simpley following the directions and lock stitched .Had I not had the directions in front of me I doubt they'd have came out so good nor do I think I could ever do it again unless I had the proceedure .
They worked well enough to pull in over 40,000 feet of armored cable a few years back .However and having said that I have not the confidence to ever attempting to splice any type braided line that could be used in a life support system .
