I found a few mantis in the brush. Escapees from the home garden. Most interesting critters.
I think it gets to cold here for them to naturalize.

They're super cool critters. I kept one as a pet when I was a kid. It seemed to especially like eating katydids. We have a good bit of them around here. Actually seems like the population has increased over the years. If one's in the way of destruction, I always carry them somewhere safe.

They can over winter were you live? I wish there were more around here. They're cool bugs.

Must be able to. They are here every year. Not a lot of them, but we see them off and on.
