Sounds like something I'll have to try. One thing: the whole toss in a large bowl idea is stupid. Put everything in a plastic bag, close it and shake it . Gets everything covered evenly and no mess. Plus you get to throw out a plastic bag afterwards and make Gretha Thunberg cry.

I live heat, but I also love taste. So the ultra hots are out. I make a pineapple habanero sauce that is hot , but also tasty. Can enough of that to last a year. For spicyness I grill a bunch of Jalapenoes and can them.

Unfortunately it is near impossible to find good avocados here. I stir fried some tofu with leftover potatoes, broccoli and a ton of spinach. Seasoned with tamari and lemon juice. A 3 bean salad with corn, fresh cilantro and lime juice as side dish. Nice to eat something green this time of year.

I split a butternut squash, cut both halves Hasselback style, roasted it and served some Ratatouille and a salad with it. Looked great and was quite tasty, too.
