I needed to make something simple, that I could do while standing on one leg.
Classic macaroni and cheese.
Turned out I'd never made that for my Swiss cheese loving wife.
Big success!
This one is mainly to grind cheese at the table.
I usually grind up a bowl full beforehand.
Alwayts either too much or too little.
This one will take care of that, as each person grinds for themself.
Usually, when I grind too much, the dog takes care of it, it is too little thgat is the problem.

I saw it in a preview to a cooking show with James May ( Of Top Gear fame) on Youtube and decided that I simply needed one.
We do eat a lot of cheese, Wife being Swiss.
That does look good, except for the dead chicken, of course.
I'll be making spaghetti with some of the 30 pds of tomato sauce, I froze in Autumn.
Mainly because I've bought a nifty new cheese grinder and I want to try it out.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, gotcha!
Thanks.
We call that talking on the big telephone.
That obviously daytes back to wall mounted telephones, doesn't make much sense today.
That Kale-bean thing looked really good, Stikine.
I'll give it a try.
@Burnham, this doesn't happen often, but you TOTALLY lost me with that Ceramic Goddess, thing.
Are you referring to my ceramic sharpening "steel"?
I made a potato, mushroom amd spinach pie.
Was going to put chunks of Turkish goat feta cheese in it, but ran out of room.
So I blended the Feta with some sour cream, and we had it op top instead.
That worked really well, will bve the new pie topping here.
Tuscan Ribollita.

One of my favourite soups.
Easy to make and sooo tasty.
I drizzle a little truffle oil in before serving.
The mail order bride loves it, which matters a lot.
That really looks good. ( Apart from the dead fish, of course).
I have the same problem here.
Wife has no tolerance for capsaicin and I love the stuff.
Just as a coubnterwight to all those dead animals.
We had cream of mushroom soup and a green salad with lamb's lettuce, turkish goat milk feta cheese and a really fine spanish olive oil drizzled over it.
I've found a Danish couple that import top grade olive oil from Spain.
The guy is just so...
Not dinner, but I've been spending the afternoon making marmalade.
My veggie and fruit pusher had some Sevilla oranges.
I've wanted to try those for a while, but you never come across them here.
So I bought 4 pds and set to work.
It has to boil for 3-4 hours before it reaches the setting point...
Roasted Butternut squash soup.
Roasting it HARD gives the soup a nice caramelly sweetness that goes well with the spices.
Drop some french goat cheese chunks in the soup when served and it is quite yummy.
Here, let me help you out: Summer savory - Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Summer_savory
The German name for it is Bohnenkraut.......................literally bean herb.
Because it goes so good with beans.
We grow it, then dry it for winter use, like we do with other herbs.
