    Hardcore is also a form of balls to the wall, full throttle rock and roll. Which some of the rurally located over fifty crowd may not have encountered. That is my preferred definition.

    I am a rock exotica addict. I love the pull down action. So much easier for me. I don't know about the orca thing, I'd need to hold one and see how it works.

    The climbing up so high in a man made object thing. I responded to the beginning of this thread without noticing the five pages that had occured since.

    I use rock exotica biners in my system, the gates have the pull down instead of push up action. I wonder if this incidence would be less likely with that set up. The motion is also much more intuitive for me.

    Last week my co worker yelled from his tree that his triple lock had opened on a branch. He was squeezing thru some pine limbs trying to get to some dead tips. Had his weight on the line. I wonder if it could happen without being weighted like that?

    Trees I don't mind climbing, but I don't even like being on top of ladders and buildings. Let alone those, with the hotness all around you no less. That's impressive Masterblaster
