In my experience running the >100cc saws and watching videos of them, they can easily seem to be a step down from a good 90cc saw in terms of cut speed and wow factor, but I haven't compared them with larger than 42" bars. The new Stihl 881 seems impressive, and I think it has dynoed 10hp or more stock.

I love n adore new Stihl MS461's adjustable carburetor, we've been a symbiotic relationship for almost a year now.

But the fly in ointment's Stihl's idiotic inability to provide double dawgs to maintain a perfectltly true and balanced cut.

Funny how on 066 and above Stihl provides double dawgs standard, but despite having the holes provided on the bar cover to mount double dawgs on the 461, they are apparently unavailable.

Is it because an inability to maintain a perfectly true and centered/balanced cut sells more Stihl bars n chains?

Dawgs on only one side are an symmetric fug up in sizeable wood.

Balance is essential to physics and life IMHO.
