What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Oh say I forgot to mention .With this freezing at night and getting warm during the day the sugar maples go nuts running sap .I passed two woods on my way home from work this afternoon that had five gallons buckets galore hanging off of trees . .

We had beautiful weather for about a week, in the 40's. Melted a lot of snow. I did 5 takedowns, only one bigger than 6" and pruned out a big cottonwood, with 6-10" deadwood. Fed the BC2000 well. And that was between 1 and 4 pm. Now weather is supposed to change, chance of freezing rain and snow tomorrow morning and Friday night. Only about 1-4" predicted. Brent should get a better "dusting" it looks like up in Saskatchewan. He needs it I am sure.

Today was one of those four seasons in one day days we get here in Idaho. I finished a pine trim in wet snow before the wind driven blizzard hit. Now its clear as a bell outside with the temperature dropping. Its going to be icy in the morning.

Today was one of these kinda days with more snow and hail coming. I was trying to make a video of the 044 in between deluge  See if what I got uploads. HA!

Been melting here for a few days now. couple bits of snow and an ice storm to go and winter should be a done deal here.

left the house and thought, boy, it looks grey and cloudy where I am headed... Got there, turned the truck off and it started to pelt with hail the size of corn. I waited about15 minutes and decided to go home, passed a number of cars/trucks/buses and made it though one area as the police were shutting the road down. some days I love having 4 wheel drive.

Here is a little view from my drive home this afternoon. Beautiful drive. Slowed me down to an hour and 20 minutes for the 80 mile commute. I may just work from home tomorrow, just have a lot of data entry in the tree inventory to do and less interruptions here than at the shop.

Our reprieve is over. Blowing snow and falling temps. Shovelling before work will either warm me up or burn me out for the day, depending if the forecast 10 to 20 cms holds true.

I was up in an Apple tree during the duration of most of this....and the snow and the rain. Shitshow of a day weather wise. But good fun nonetheless.

ha, poor bugger. Where were you? Behind that other client of mine? I didnt see the trucks at the other place near there. I texted your boss and called him but he never responded.
