It never ceases to amaze me, what depths of water some people feel the need to try and drive through during flooding. Kind of nuts if you ask me.

The rain finally gave up here last week after 3 weeks. Weather is back to nearly normal, mid winter around 72F last 8 days. Sunny, blue sky. I'm making some money again. 8)

We've been through it here, was dry for years. I liked it, no humidity. I worked July 1st 2005 [bought a new chipper] till August 2nd 2007 [brother inlaw died] and never had a day off. Then till about Feb 2008 and the drought broke, but only in some parts.

This year 2 or 3 days a week it's raining. :(

here. Big surprise.

It's 71 right now. It was hot last week and cooled down over the weekend. Supposed to be about the same all week.

There's been this big glowing orb in the sky the past few days.

I Googled it; it's something called the "SUN". Any of y'all ever heard of this thing? It's scaring me.

Quiet Erik, I've heard the sun is very shy, and will hide behind big black clouds if it draws too much attention!
