No... they will go up. Had a swamp cooler until last year. But ... the house will be nicer for it and there are health concerns that this will prove better for.

Totally nasty heat here today and forecast for the next few...upper 80's and nearly 60% humidity .

I moved from the SE a looong time ago for several very good reasons, weather not the least. For a born and bred southerner, this is bliss.

Here it is drizzling rain and 58 degrees which is a mighty poor excuse for a summer.

It's winter alright, might get down to 50 when the rains stops and that could last for a few weeks.
I'm not really complaining, I wouldn't swap places with anyone but seven days of rain is a bit much for me. But I've got a fire and few beers in stock, I might get through it.

I have a 35 year old house with original ac. Turned on full blast it still got to 85 degrees inside! Didn't climb today honestly don't think I could have after 10:00 am. Be careful out there!
