Cherry tomatoes are pretty good fresh, like Cherub tomatoes in the clear top yellow bottom containers. If cut in half and cooked, the tomatoes fall apart easily just leaving the skins behind.

Tortellini tonight with my home made marinara sauce.
Katy had some ravioli instead.
Garlic bread.
I got some moose tracks ice crean for dessert.
Not that I need dessert.
But I would like some

Well, it looks like ocean fresh Dungeness crab is on the menu tonight! I've got 3 crab pots out before the commercial season opens on June 15th.

When we were in Alaska in 88 we had Dungeness we bought off the boat. It was cheap and better than Snow or King I thought.

When we were in Hawaii in 14 I had it at a crab shack and the price was through the roof. I guess the Chinese are to thank for that.

Yeah, it's definitely gotten more expensive. It seems like most of the Alaska seafood has really increased from the retail side.

I talked to an outdoorsy looking guy in Hilo airport. He wintered in Hawaii and summered on the Copper River. He was telling me about the high price for it back in 14. He said he just had kind of a small shack in Hawaii. Big enough for his motorcycle, his surfboard, and him. I guess his wife stayed at her job in Alaska year round. What a life!

Oatmeal. I spilled a lot of raisins in it, along with cinnamon and some craisins. Not bad. I have chickpeas in the instant pot. I'm going to make some hummus.
