It's like grilled cheese, but even less work! Dunno why I never thought to do it, but it's amazing. Had Gruyère on sourdough. Slice some cheese, put it on bread, put it in the toaster oven, wait. Quick food that isn't complete garbage.
Turned the family onto grilled cheese with dill pickle slices. Sounds odd, but once you try it.
Fresh tomato slice with some bacon would be good.
Liven it up with some prosciutto ham, mozzerella and a basil leaf would be dandy.
