It's like grilled cheese, but even less work! Dunno why I never thought to do it, but it's amazing. Had Gruyère on sourdough. Slice some cheese, put it on bread, put it in the toaster oven, wait. Quick food that isn't complete garbage.

A regular at our house since I was a tiny tot in fact. Usually for breakfast, but makes a lunch from time to time.

I only discovered it like a month ago. Should have been obvious, but... It's my new favorite thing. If I'm not sure what I want to eat, cheese on bread will always work.

You can add toppings, if it interests you. Sliced mushrooms is good. A couple of slices of bacon, already cooked, is extremely fine.

Turned the family onto grilled cheese with dill pickle slices. Sounds odd, but once you try it.
Fresh tomato slice with some bacon would be good.
Liven it up with some prosciutto ham, mozzerella and a basil leaf would be dandy.

I usually put some hot salsa on top and grill that so it mixes into the melted cheese.

Grilled cheese is one of my favorite foods. Seeded rye, and extra sharp cheddar is the dinner of kings.

As a teen, i remember thinking the same thing when my dad turned me on to raw oysters. Who the hell rhought of eating this thing? 🤣

In fact, they ate so many that we find the places where they tossed the shells all over Denmark.
