That one could have been planned better... JMO.. You had a lot of brush and low laterals in the way that should have been removed first. Granted, it is easy to arm chair plan instead of being the guy on the site. Just seemed a couple of those pics could have bit ya...
 
Thanks for comments. 3:20 protected shed that's why it was left. Never cut and chucked , hurt my shoulder the other week and less damage to ground this way. Cheers!
 
When it's faster I use ropes. To cut and chuck this tree would have taken a lot longer than roping. Also trying not to work harder, just smarter.
 
I hear ya. Did a Manitoba Maple or Boxelder and thought I was roping it from the ground when I looked at it but decided to cut and chuck when I got up into it. And the occational flick because of the wires.
 
Did a cut and chuck leaning oak yesterday.. All to save some damage to surrounding trees. This thing was growing right over them. Had to pitch it all back behind me and only caught and swung back two tiny tops...
