Harmon ripped. Wow, there was just news that he was giving up his fight, and he's already gone. He brought some cheers to the fans for sure.

Big whoop, that was SOP for the time.

Macho Man Facts;

Never benefited from superhuman booking (Hogan/Warrior/Undertaker)
Earned his way to the top with pure talent
Cut some of the most entertaining promos of all time
Was well-rounded in the ring combining strength, speed, agility, believable selling and ring psychology
Brought ground-breaking aerial tactics to the mainstream
Was involved in some of the most powerful moments in wrestling history in which fans were actually weeping in the stands (Mega Powers Explode, Reuniting with Elizabeth)
Wrestled what is largely heralded the greatest match of all time (Wrestlemania 3 against Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat)
Got out at the right time and avoided tarnishing his legacy by overstaying his welcome by wrestling poorly due to aging and loss of athleticism

He 'twarnt so bad.

Oh my God I haven't thought about that in years that is too funny. With all the classics like Roddy Piper, Junk Yard Dog, Oh hell yeah.

Back in the day we had Haystack Calhoun too. The 'big splash' would end the fight. People didn't have to take juice and have such big muscles, just eat a lot.
