The RIP Thread...

I saw toots and the maytals 9 years ago. Toots was 68 at the time, rocking a leather vest, showing off muscle I guess. Played for 2 hours, dancing like crazy and belting out the tunes. That dude rocked, one of the best concerts I've seen.
 
More survivable today than yesterday....but still a sunofabitch.

My father in law said something interesting a while ago.

We are all living so much longer these days....that virtually all of us will die WITH cancer.....not necessarily because of cancer.
 
I have a good friend, not quite my age, but close enough, that has survived pancreatic cancer. According to him, the survival rate past 2 years from diagnosis is something less than 2 percent. He's been cancer free for 14 years now. That is one lucky son of a bitch, to beat those odds.

Might be, imo, that his karma is so strong because he does the absolutely finest deep pit whole pork roasting that any woman or man has ever tasted.

Just a theory :D.
