Thanks, Gary. I went through several orthopedic docs and other specialists a few years ago including 3 months of physical therapy at Jewitt Orthopedic (all on my own dime). Gave up after the last one because I never could get any answers that made sense to me. 3 in a row said I needed a hip replacement because it was worn out but I can tell that it's muscular and I'm about 90% certain it's a torn muscle or tendon.

Maybe I might try again. One of my customers from last year is John Gabriel, former general manager of the Orlando Magic. He might know one or two good orthopedic specialists.

Sounds like you gave it a good shot...might need shooting again. I bet Gabriel does know some good orthopods.

When I was in my teens I helped someone reclaim some old bricks for their patio. I lifted up too many at one time and that night in bed my left hip was really aching bad. Ever since that time my left hip will start aching again from time to time, especially if i bend over too much. Got it looked at and supposedly treated, but it never did any good. Wonder what it could be? I know it's definitely from that day with the bricks.

Sounds like it could have been a labral tear. PT helped fix mine...somehow. I just checked..it was 12 years ago....2005...when I was dealing with that hip.

And on the other hand...if it is a bad hip joint, then I am the poster child for getting that worn out piece of shite OEM unit cut out and replaced with titanium, cobalt chrome, and high density cross linked polyethylene.

Doing so made my life MINE again.

Your company is equipment heavy, hard to believe they resist crane work. With your volume, you guys probably need your own rather than renting.

Last cut to get it below the lines. 32" bar was a tad short. I'll still have to take another chunk off before felling but I could barely hold the saw level by that time. Mid 80's today with terrible humidity
