The Official Work Pictures Thread

Just forks on the cat. Hoping to pay the chipper off before winter and buy a mini skid and dump trailer.
The bobcat pushes all those little sticks into the ground making the raking a pita. It was a nice job

Gotcha.

Good luck buying the mini and dump trailer, those will knock some work out!

I need to get a go pro. Not in the budget right now. Of course then I'll need to learn to edit and download and that technical stuff. Damn these fancy computing machines.

Rich, I have two of these...GoPro knockoffs. I have been able to get some good video...in trees and underwater...comes with waterproof case and LOTS of accessory clips to attach it to helmets, belts, chest harness...lots of clip apparati. (Apparatuses)

Be sure to get the one by Afunta...there are some copies that I read about that don't interchange batteries, cases, etc. with GoPro..this one is supposed to be able to use GP stuff if you need to.

Current price is $68.90 Camera pictures at bottom...I can't figure out how to specifically place picts/videos in a post.

Here is sample of some of Afunta video:

Hey, Gary! Nice job on letting Rich know about the Afunta cameras! (Sorry if this post seems out of sequence with recent posts in this thread, folks.) You saved me all of the trouble, and you did a much better job of it than I would have. I loved the video of the grandson, I assume it was. It is the first video I've ever seen using a sport camera to capture a child's point of view during a fun and exciting activity. It captures a moment in time, and is really precious footage. Listening to his thought process as he makes his way through is just really compelling video, along with the sound of his young voice, which you know will change over time. Just a great idea to capture that video, and he is one lucky little boy to have men around him that went to all of that trouble to build such a fun addition to the back yard pool. Just outstanding, all around. Hayden seems like a really smart little kid with a great instinct for safety and self-preservation.

To Rich: If you did not see Gary's original post a few pages back, you should go back and find it, because it contains photos of the Afunta cam and the accessories that come with it that did not make it into my post.

Here's a link to Gary's original post, which was on page 799 of this thread, if I recall correctly.

Thanks for your time.

Yesterday mornings fun. Fwiw the swing was planned as a way to pull and dump the lower part without it hitting the power which it did brush. It just couldn't be left.

Perfectly fine quite light piece in actuality as it was full of dry rot and my swing to plumb line was out from the trunk Dispite it looking like I swung into it hard.
The lanyard was left on with enough room for the top to swing free under my legs and dump it

Forgot to say thanks Gary. Going to have my cousin check it out for me. Grabbing her go pro this week to play with. After the holiday weekend I'm doing the RR bridge job and hope to get some footage.

While checking video gear check into Gorilla Pods (or generic ones), too...good ways to set up a camera and let it run without you there.

The big red one below is $14....

Found these on my computer from a couple of years back.
A pig of a fir in a front courtyard, broke the telephone lines with the last branch! Riddled with a creeper, horribly underpriced.

Yes, I had one to start with 20 years back, switched to a weaver, then needed to retire that and said to myself "those Willans were ok, and not pricey" so I bought one and a month or so later went back and bought another Weaver.
Buy cheap, buy twice.

Why did you under bid it??

I never do that:/:

I turned up without seeing it with the landscaper who gets some work for me and they wanted it topped.
I climbed up there and as you can see it had already been done years previously. I was a bit hungover and didn't fancy it for the money, but feeling guilty I offered to take it out for a low price.
Cue tears of recrimination.
