The Official Work Pictures Thread

Waterfront property-line row of trees: csnopy raising and broken off snag removal with Rig 'n' Wrench set in an adjacent, allowing some direct throwing into the trailer and logs to be pulled into the trailer directly.

The mini-loader is at the shop to offload.

A tight driveway to get in/ turned around.

Is that really within your realm to do? No disrespect meant here, but that looks like a pretty complex tree for a guy that doesn't climb and rig stuff down.
Nope! I don’t climb, I fall. 😆Can’t get the lift to it.
For me it would all depend on what the tiles are made of.

I mean I’d do it, but the price would alter considerably due to that.
Some kind of composite.

Seriously, if one of you climbers wants a working vacation, we’ll get you a cheap flight and put you up. You’d be primary on this one. I’ll go read how to be a good groundie. 😆

@SeanKroll we have rocks to climb too. 😁 Climbing in McCain Valley, San Diego County - https://www.mountainproject.com/area/106198790/mccain-valley

Ya know…I probably actually could do it. They may not be able to get someone local to do it. I could get a scissor lift in there. Get all the stuff off on the left side. Build a cushion with it. Bare the center lead. Bare the limbs on the right and use the fuzz for a cushion on the roof. Rig off the center and lower the right leads. Chunk the center down, maybe onto the cushion on the ground. I’m not really interested unless they want to throw some $ at it. They want the stump ground, don’t care to do that or the cleanup. Maybe team up with another guy for that.

wow, big dollar show for sure if you go that route. hopefully the client is on board?

just curious, does your business license and insurance cover this stuff? I'm only asking because of my new LLC start up.
Nope. I’m just having fun helping friends out and if they want to pay me that’s up to them. I’m basically self insured on tree stuff I guess you’d say. I break it I fix it. Not preferable and I keep threatening to go legit. Few if any tree guys down here are legit so I don’t mind taking a little work from them.

They’ll have “tree service” on their truck with no numbers 😆

I cant see any way that removal isn’t going to be expensive. Doing it climbing and manually is time $ and big eqpt (crane) is $.
