The Official Work Pictures Thread

Finished with all the aerial work. On to moving logs into the woods and burning one last pile.

Four more butt logs off 4 leaders were also flopped.

Both neighbors love the look of what's left.

The trunks that were leaning hard toward the neighbors' house were decayed in the heartwood to about 2/3 diameter. 20241212_160900.jpg 20241212_160913.jpg

People on the ground can hear the spars and logs cracking while being cut over the saw noise. The climber and hear and feel popping of the logs, mid-cut...very comforting 😉 .

Derby. We are at 50% which suits us fine given the temperatures. Expectations are low between December and February so anything that shows up is welcome. I have a new engine coming for the chipper next week so the prep is keeping me busy.

@cory we separated the brush from logs and left a path behind the fence. This way people can buck and haul away. In these situations we try to leave the site as convenient as possible in case we get a call later to clean up.

Yes, btw, misery loves company, always nice to hear of other's occasional goof ups since we've all done it...some more than others (looks in mirror)! :rockhard: :/::lol:
