For the Record I would never say hand balling wood to another person....
 
The flat was for rent... I thought it was a bargain on Sacramento st... $4125...2 bedroom 1 bath... no parking... right on a super high end shopping strip... Presidio heights...

View prune... probably 150 year old walnut... back when Potrero hill was a giant Goat farm and orchards.....
 
If not for Dahlia, and being swamped with work and property stuff, a road-tripping work-cation would be fantastic around the country.

Used to travel to different locations around the country for fun, to climb different kinds of rocks. Same idea...ahh college-days!

1/2” stablebraid for the win. Jimmy is really coming around. I didn’t get a measurement on this pick but the one prior( according to the green log weight chart) came in at 2850 lbs. Boss won’t get us a crane so we made our own.

I found this rope pretty skinny for this job, even just delicate lifting. It was way out of its chart. My 5/8" rigging rope is rated for 2200 lbs !
