If you do use them, you better be accurate
Removed a hazard tree for the city today. It was about a 90’ tulip poplar. Easy climb. Only had to rig one top, the rest could fly.
Sorry there’s no before or during pics. I was in a mood to match our foul weather. That was mama coon. Three babies vacated shortly after I bucked the log
Thanks Rajan, i felt it was one of my better ones That's a gigantic willow there! Fortunately i didn't climb it, had planned to in order to saw some lean into it, but once i started figuring on the weights of everything i determined it was pretty balanced and pulling it would be enough. Biggest tree I've taken whole by property, not gonna lie when it started to go once i got it cut up (i had tensioned up but figured i would have to pull it over) i felt pretty good. Had a big hollow right above the hinge, so i was also pretty happy when i got nothing but clean chips cutting the face. Not too bad for a fitter
I agree on the 088. I only run a few tanks a year in mine but it’s here when I need it. The older I get the more I hate having to use it. I’d be perfectly happy if it was a garage queen.
