The Official Work Pictures Thread

Yeah I arranged for the scaffolding to be put up as the wall is new and has no foundations, that's how they build them traditionally, they are very expensive to build and I certainly didn't want anything dropping off and smashing it.

As far as I can glean, it's your device - not the forum. It's never yet happened once to me, but a couple others have the same problem.

I wonder what they're gonna carve it into?

Cheers Butch.

I don't know what they had in mind for carving, house owner designed the Apple watch.

I DL'd and rotated with a MS photo editor...see if it helps.

I've cut down one and trimmed another of those things this week...not as chunky though.
Its a pity the dead leaves are such a pain, they are quite attractive in the right place.

It was a dracaena palm or cordyline.

Thank goodness palm grinds like butter...

Good job, I've done a few of them.

Have you ever done a Pony Tail? Beaucarnea recurvata.

I've done some, not butter just a big mushy mess.

Did one last year about twice the size of this guys one. https://youtu.be/N4wDZZZZ5Zo

Gave another job with an even bigger one to my mate in Sydney a couple of months ago, he got stuck a few times grinding it but he's still talking to me.

Never done a pony tail palm... had to look it up.

The consistency of the grinding was like slushy snow mashed potatoes....and heavy.

I slept well that night... it close quarters with the trunk and 372... I think I bent the bar being lazy...that’s why I buy the cheap ones I guess....

Low and slow. I guess those are relative terms

Still need to get it broke in but I might also need to tighten the bollard up a bit on the top end. Just seems like it’s relying on the body for to much of the friction.

I have a pet pony tail palm right here in my bedroom, about 2' tall, 6" DBH -- (there's only a "breast height" in play here because it is on a dresser).

Last couple of days have been busy with a hedge removal.

30 cubic meters of chip, fed the new chipper with the loader where possible, finished off with the grinding today.

Nice not having to put on the harness and spikes for a couple of days.
