The Official Work Pictures Thread

Or not. Douglas Dent's been dead for some time now, so we don't have to worry about all these old-ladies telling us what to do. :drink:

Thanks guys... Paul, it's always a good day when Bug makes it out to work, he enjoys it a lot more than staying at home with his mom. He's a good work dog, it has to be the right kind of job to have him out... he sure loves all the guys on the crew and does a good job of keeping nosey neighbors away! Usually he just waits in the truck until I get out of the tree, I started him when he was tiny so he pretty much knows the drill. Once he gets that morning energy out he just lays around anyway. Sorry to hear about your ol' boy though, you think you might ever get another pup?

Stephen, I got a second RC3001 shipped out for that last job then Lawrence shows up with a pretty new HOBBS. We used the HOBBS for the gin pole tree and the RC3001 for the drift or control line.

Adrian I don't see the link? I'll have to check the computer.

Felt bad Saturday. Had my cousins funeral in Rough & Ready and could not call you guys up. Quick turn around with my folks. I was driving them since they are getting older. Left at 5am from here, got back home at 7:30. We did not stay very long by family standards. Maybe next time up.

Dang Stephen, sorry to hear that... I do remember you mentioning you had family in Rough and Ready... next time under better circumstances would be great.

Dropped a maple spar first thing this morning. I was glad it tore itself apart upon impact. image.jpg
Had a dumbass attack and melted my chaps on the exhaust. :X

hahaha...Hey!!! What's that smell??? oops.

If you're not out there screwing something up once in awhile then you're just not out there. Screw ups...yep already had a few today..cutting grass on my son's fancy mower...gotta have the levers JUST right or it won't crank. Brush the left/right tank to the empty tank...mower won't run.

I like easy screwups.

Great pics! Gettin'er dun!

A rather unremarkable laydown of a Manitoba Maple, heavy lean, lots of room. The HO has a workshop, with a glass roof, well, he tried a while back to trim up some limbs, not sure how he was doing it, but ended up through the glass, sliced open from butthole to belly button, nearly denutted. After hearing that my questions dryed up.

Sequoiadenderon Pigantium. This pig was about 32 years old, 55' tall, and 39" on the stump.
