The Official Work Pictures Thread

I know they can move a bit in the wind but I always find them quite easy.
Regular form means easier rigging. The branches also float down rather than bomb.
Just don't tie in too high.
Chips good as well so groundies love 'em.

Sorta like spear chucking with the small stuff and the hand saw does go a long way.
Like you said... tie in smartly and rigging down saves a ton of clean up time.. Lack of leaves helps :D

On big ones I like to use two climbers.
One to top tie the pieces and one to cut them.
Otherwise its up-down, up-down all day.

Cheers Pete, it's for the old school consultant I contract for, normally I wouldn't have a hope getting in with sites like that.

Great to have Mike in so I can have a rest.

Nice one, where abouts in Oz? I worked in North Sydney around 16 years ago.

Funny Midland getting that contract, they must have bid stupid low.

I'm still in Melbourne. Amazing city.
Midland bid some prices lower than we were doing them for and that was a 7 year old contract!!
Hopefully it's biting them on the ass;)

Nothing unusual, oak takedown in Dutch holiday village.
But the sky was blue etc.
First day on the zig-zag, yes I like it. Drawback is it's bit of a faff to thread it through a new rope, I have a few different lengths so on a rainy morning I can see problems.
It took a while to trust it but overall I'm happy.
I did misjudge the rope length and take an unscheduled fall of 4ft when coming down.
No harm done though! (This time)

On machine digging, a BMG loosens soil around fence posts to then lift out.
Edit:
Sorry for that autocorrect nonsense.
