Summer branch drop in massive black oak today....other tree company called me and asked if I want job (dont think they wanted to do it) yep, sounded Epic, Im in

This is a good pic of how big just the branch is....









My basal tie (red rope) used about 20 to 22ft of rope to get around trunk...but its nor cal, you have to expect that lol

Is it true that no one truly knows what causes sudden summer limb drop?

I read somewhere that the sudden uptake of water in the spring after fall and winter drought causes the cellular structure to grow too fast and weaken. Add the excess weight of leaves and and that water and Bam.

Here's a dead oak we took out these last two days. My buddy is climbing. The central lead failed 3 weeks before we did it.

I gave the client a month to lose the three bee nests in the tree.

They assured me the tree was free of bees. Not the case. Ha!
