I just watched it I'm shocked he didn't have to pause filming in order to puke repeatedly lol. Very good rigging the tower, kinda like a tripod. Since everything is loaded in compression, the 2x4s were strong enough, and the stiffeners he added help even more. That would just make me so sick to ruin a nice piece of machinery by doing something so dumb. Hope he got it all torn down and lubed up in time. I once lost an outboard (long story lol), and they found it when I was out of town with the family on vacation. I told the guy he could keep it since I wasn't there to dewater it.

According to the comment, the beams under the stump grinder are 4"x4", a lot stronger than a 2x4.
