A doe or two give birth inside most years. They jump in and out over our field fencing easily. After the fawns are born the does come and go as suits them. We have a creek and plenty of cover and forage, so it's a safe and plentiful place for them to raise the little ones.

Plenty of food for the critters and lead for the yotes and they think our place is heaven on earth.
 
Oh yeah, Dave. We are the headquarters for the Western chapter of the Moles International Federation :D.

I rather like moles...they are very interesting. But there is no doubt they are a bother as well. Fortunately, my "lawn" is just mowed decades old pasture with every known to man vegetation in addition to some grass. I don't try to make our place look like a suburban lot with perfect lawn, not at all.
