Meet Otis

Taking his first nap here finally. Sure needed some human contact...

He was in the shelter for a couple months. Needs a bit of confidence boosting in the house, as he runs loose here and has been used to a cage, but took a good walk outside when I got him home and I got to glimpse the "future dog" a bit...I think he'll be awesome. Walks pretty well for not any more practice than he's had recently. Did great job at the door when my sister came over...sat & watched as she entered. He's not barked once yet, but who knows what he went through before...wait & see I guess.

First one I've ever adopted...all the others I've taken from mistreaters or found wondering. Quite a process adopting...I was starting to eye the dogs around town and thinking taking one might be easier
