The Joke/Funny Pic/Video Thread

I don’t normally comment on posts but the sad part about this picture of the fat guy is that he is probably fully employed as a fire fighter. At least in my area this is a fact.

I just pasted it over from Twitter for laughs, I didn’t want to make a point about obesity in the US.
I take your point though.

That looks handy. Where can I get one of those lifts? :/:

I almost needed one this morning trying to work on my truck!

Funny thing is Brian I know what you mean.
If I have to spend time on my back under a truck sorting stuff out my neck and shoulders are sore af afterwards.
Reason is I’m using muscles I hardly ever use in tree work.
Same as when I reroofed the barn, thighs and calves killing me from standing on a slope for hours on end.
Being old doesn’t help of course!

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband is not in bed. She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a hot cup of coffee in front of him.

He appears to be in deep thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of his coffee.

'What's the matter, dear' she whispers as she steps into the room, 'Why are you down here at this time of night

The husband looks up from his coffee, 'It's the 20th Anniversary of the day we met'.

She can't believe he has remembered and starts to tear up.

The husband continues, 'Do you remember 20 years ago when we started dating, I was 18 and you were only 16,' he says solemnly.

Once again, the wife is touched to tears. 'Yes, I do' she replies.

The husband pauses The words were not coming easily. 'Do you remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car'

'Yes, I remember' said the wife, lowering herself into the chair beside him.

The husband continued. 'Do you remember when he shoved the shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter or I will send you to prison for 20 years'

'I remember that, too' she replied softly.

He wiped another tear from his cheek and said "I would have gotten out today."

I need to settle down and post some. The first two days were crazy busy...dredging, moving spar chunks, concrete pipe, cutting a 1/2 mile road thru woods, ripping apart big debris piles in the way, crossing 2 creeks and making the crossing "crossable" for the HO's 4 wheelers, etc. Oh...forgot about moving a big ass conex trailer for the FF's. Probably way more vid and picts than folks want to see. I'll try to edit some down.
