Tendon Surgery AGAIN!

Cheap compared to here, though.
Glucosamine sulfate is one of those things I stock up on when visiting the US.
It works pretty good for keeping my thrice operated knees pain free.

There have not been many supplements over the years that really seemed to work for me...glucosamine sulfate does seem to.
 
Spring will be here soon enough. Just take it one day at a time and you'll be good to go in no time.

On a related note, I've never been into supplements but recently began taking Glucosamine Sulphate for my joints and tendons. In just a couple days I noticed a distinct lack of pain in my joints which has plagued me for years. I did some reading and it is one of the few things which has been proven over and over to have a positive and measurable effect.
 
It did the same thing for me...supplements I have taken over the years I could not usually tell a difference in how I "felt". Glucosamine sulfate seems to have worked well for me to keep joints lubricated and working properly.

The sulfate version is important...the smaller molecule size is assimilated better than the chondroitin...according to a professional trainer/nutritional specialist I know.
 
Gary, I found the same info on Wikipedia about the sulphate version. I was reading labels at the drug store and out of a dozen different brands and styles, only two were sulphate.
 
Good to hear you found other concurrence about the sulfate version. My experience at buying it is the same...have to read the labels closely to get the right one.

Combining it with MSM is a popular joint supplement (it may help with osteoarthritis).

Picked some up today Gary, we'll see how it goes.

Boy, I'm glad I'm doing the rehab myself. Since I just went through this last year, I know exactly what to do and I'm saving on my insurance copays.

I've been playing with the rope wrench in my basement, just hanging a line off my weightlifting power rack and sitting in my saddle, playing around with the different hitches. Boy, do I miss climbing! 6 weeks and it already feels like forever.
 
Good deal...I hope you get good results from it like I have. Be consistent in taking it to give it a fair shake...let us know.
 
One issue I had this past year and it took a follow up visit with the doc to get an explanation. Sometimes after working a little too hard I would get a sensation in my arm that I can only describe as having sticky half dried orange juice inside my elbow and in the crux of my arm. The doc said that came from leaking bursa sacs, otherwise known as bursitis. Thankfully it only happened a dozen times or so in the first few months back to work.

Heal quick!
 
Oh let me tell you that hurts .I was on crutchs about two years ago from same which is behind one knee .Old war wound from cutting out on a 40 foot pole when I was in my early 30's . Missed two days of 12 hour of double time ,now that did suck with a half life .:what:

Just one of those things that pops up from time to time but might be fine for 3-4 years in between .Another example of how things in your youth come back to haunt you later in life .

So I got the word from the doc yesterday. He's cleared me for full duty, so I'm back to climbing! Yea ha!

Thanks for all the support that you guys have given to me all winter, I really appreciate it.
 
Yeah, good news. You must be doubly fine, as doctors usually tell you that you can go back to work well after you are really capable.
