We did a whale watching trip in the morning and Anan bears in the afternoon.

Well, we cancelled today for dense fog which is wide spread. This was going to be my last trip for the season, but I'm ready to wrap things up and get some things done around the house before winter. Moose season opens tomorrow as well.

Not as bad but I've seen some cases, though not around here.

When is a good time to come?

Kinda depends on what you want to do and see. The bear stuff at Anan starts around the 4th of July and peaks in August. Other things like whale watching, Stikine River, LeConte glacier are more flexible.
