I used to love Hope. She's beautiful.

The still waters of a silent ocean, the sun kisses the horizon and the tiny waves break on the white sand. calm tranquil and beautiful. Its a simple scene which promotes thought and a sense of forgotten romanticism. It doesn't dictate but allows the listener the freedom to project harmonious thoughts and images. Or Burnham you can have a shin digging party! Moods are moods, thankfully they are all very different from each other. Mazzy Star are not a showy band I admit.
Here is a pretty tune all full of wonder and brightness, just for you Burnham. Good to see you down this end of the bar, stay a while, got any tunes?

Burnham,
It's not hard if you're familiar with Youtube. I don't know if you can access it at work but it's as easy as going to their website and putting a few words in the search box. Google owns them now so it uses the same intuitive prompts that you're used to with Google's search. Then you get to pick through the results to find what you're looking for.

To embed, you click the 'embed' button under the video which produces the embed code in the box. Then copy that embed code and paste it in your post here.

Thanks, Brian. Let's see if this works.

Try this one...Lindsey Buckingham's guitar work is striking, nearly 30 years on.

When they locked into a groove, the Doors were pretty amazing.

Well Butch, me bucko...I wouldn't be able to argue that his technical skills were better than average. But that album was one of my favs back in the day, and Buckingham put down licks that meshed mighty well with the overall direction. Stevie Nicks would never be put in the upper eschelon of vocalists, either...but the end product was way above average in my book, and that's where the rubber meets the road.

Just my opinion, and I can't play a note or carry a tune in a bucket...but my ears work just fine :D.

How about this, Butch...any better? Robert Cray gets air time in our house come the snuggle hour :).

Lindsay Buckingham is underrated just because the entire group was such a powerhouse! I doubt we will see another group of that nature in my lifetime, every one of them was a talent in and amongst themselves!

Mazzy Star is a bit of an acquired taste Burn, but DAMN beautiful music when you sit back and take it all in! I love that voice, it's like Allison Krause hurt and angry! Gives me goose bumps! It's haunting!

Then there's the Cowboy Junkies, same, but different.

Then Allison for the heck of it!

Andy, I'm amazed by your vast range in musical interests. Your choices run the gamut, including lots of stuff I've never heard of before.
